Who each one is for
Findmyshift is one of the oldest online rota tools in Britain, and its pricing is its clearest idea: one flat price per team, whatever the headcount inside the plan’s cap. The free plan takes five members and one manager with a week of history and a week of forward planning; Starter takes twenty members; Business a hundred members and a hundred managers. There is a free time clock station, payroll calculations for hourly, daily and salaried people, shift reminders and group messages, and a list of integrations from Xero to Square. If your team is one group of people under one manager and the headcount is stable, per-team pricing is easy to budget.
InShift is priced per active person, and the money buys the rota, the team app and payroll together: rates per person, premiums as rules, and what is owed at the end of the period, with “Export to Excel” for the accountant. Locations are not capped on the paid plan, a person can work at several of them, and a manager’s role can be limited to their own location. The Free plan is one location with up to ten people.
The rule of thumb: a single team of twenty with a manager or two, who wants a time clock at no extra cost, is well served by Findmyshift’s Starter plan. A business with two or three sites, several managers, and pay that depends on nights and premiums is what InShift is built for.
