Refund and cancellation policy

Effective 18 October 2026

This policy explains when and how the Provider refunds payments for access to InShift and how a payment can be cancelled. It forms part of the Terms of service; the terms “Provider”, “Customer”, “Invoice” and “Plan” have the same meaning as there.

1. Full refund

  • the money was charged by mistake or twice for the same Invoice;
  • paid access was not provided through the Provider's fault: the Service did not work and the Provider did not fix the problem after the Customer reported it;
  • the Customer changed their mind within 14 calendar days of the first payment for the Basic Plan. This applies to the Organisation's first paid Invoice, monthly or yearly.

2. Partial refund

For seats paid yearly, after 14 days we refund the full months that have not yet started: the yearly Invoice amount divided by 12 and multiplied by the number of those months.

3. No refund

  • for the current paid month of a monthly subscription, once more than 14 days have passed since the first payment;
  • for people dismissed or removed during a paid month: they simply drop off the next Invoice;
  • for a month in which the Organisation was view only because of non-payment.

You can cancel the subscription at any time: no new Invoice is issued, and the paid period runs to its end. Section 11 of the Terms of service explains how.

4. How to ask for a refund

Write to support@inshift.app with the subject “Refund” and include:

  • the Organisation name and the account owner's email;
  • the Invoice number, date and amount of the payment;
  • the reason for the refund.

Do not send the full card number: the date and amount are enough to find the payment.

5. Timing

5.1. The Provider replies within 3 business days and makes a decision within 10 business days.

5.2. Money is returned the same way it was paid: to the same card through WayForPay, or by transfer to the account the payment came from. The Provider does not deduct any refund fee from the Customer.

5.3. Once the Provider has sent the refund, the money usually reaches the card within a few business days, most often within seven. The exact time depends on the card's issuing bank and can be up to 30 calendar days.

6. Cancelling a payment

If a card payment has not yet been settled by the bank, the Provider may cancel it instead of refunding it: the held amount is then simply released on the card. How quickly it is released also depends on the bank.

A recurring card payment can be switched off at any time by writing to support@inshift.app or yourself in the WayForPay personal account, under “Регулярні платежі” (Recurring payments). Later Invoices are then not charged to the card.
